The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) exam for admission to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS) and 922 PG Diploma in 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities. The NBE has announced the exam date for NEET PG 2023 session at nbe.edu.in.
NBE has released the NEET PG 2023 application form on January 7, 2023. The last date to fill out the application was January 27, 2023. NEET PG 2023 exam date is March 5. Aspirants can click on NEET PG 2023 application form direct link available on the official website, nbe.edu.in. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be able to fill out the NBE NEET PG 2023 application form at the official website. NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2023
Candidates who wish to appear in NEET Post Graduate 2023 can check below for the eligibility criteria as declared by the NBE. Candidates who fail to meet the requirements will not be given admission under any circumstance:
• Candidate must be an Indian citizen
• Candidates who are in a possession of MBBS degree and also possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of
India or State Medical Council
NEET PG 2023 Application Process

NEET 2023 application form can be filled in the steps mentioned below.
- Visit nbe.edu.in and click on the NEET PG 2023 tab
- Click on the ‘new registration’ tab and enter the asked details.
- User ID and password will be then, sent through SMS and Email
- Fill out the application form – Personal Details, Qualification Details (MBBS / Primary Medical Qualification details, Internship Details, SMC/MCI Registration Details), Test Center Details
- Upload a recent passport size photograph (Maximum 80 Kb size, in JPG/JPEG format) and signature (Maximum 80 Kb size, in JPG/JPEG format) signature
- Choose test city
- Make a payment of fees in the online mode through debit/credit card or net banking.
- Take a printout of the filled application form with the transaction ID printed on it.
Important: Test City will be confirmed only after payment of the fee is successful.
NEET PG Correction Window 2023
With the help of the correction window, applicants will be able to edit some details in their NEET PG 2023 application form. The details that can be edited during the NEET PG correction window include

- Gender
- Category of the Candidate
- Physical Disability Status
- EWS status
The following details cannot be corrected in the NEET 2023 application form:
- Name of the Candidate

NEET PG Exam Pattern 2023
NEET Post Graduate 2017 is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The online question paper is based on the syllabus as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, NBE. The question booklet have questions taught during MBBS programmes. Candidates can check below for the highlights:
• There is a total of 300 multiple choice questions
• Each question consists of 4 answers and candidates have to choose a single correct response
• Duration of the test is of 195 minutes-15 minutes for test tutorials and 180 minutes for attempting the test
• The weightage of MCQs is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/amend and vary the same

NEET Post Graduate Syllabus 2023
The syllabus of the entrance exam may consist of all subjects studied during the MBBS and BDS programmes. The NEET Post Graduate syllabus will consist of subject areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by MCI with prior approval of the Government of India.

NEET Post Graduate Cut off 2023
The cut off score is the minimum marks a candidate need to secure in order to qualify the entrance test. NEET Post Graduate 2023 cut off score depends on various factors such as availability of seats, number of applicants applied and difficulty level of the exam etc.
As per the prospectus, candidates belonging to general category have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in NEET PG 2023 to qualify it, while it is 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates and 45% for PH candidates.

NEET PG Merit List 2023
The merit list of NEET Post Graduate 2023 will be based on candidate’s score in NEET Post Graduate 2023. The merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure a minimum of qualifying marks as per their categories pre-determined by exam conducting authority, NBE. The merit list of each category will consist of total of five times of number of seats available for allotment.
NEET Post Graduate Counselling 2023
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET Post Graduate 2023 counselling in online mode for providing admissions to 50% All India Quota seats. However, admissions to remaining 50% seats will be conducted by State government or an authority appointed by them.
